I was born in Hull and now live in Leeds. My main instrument is violin (usually electric), and also syntheizers. I do dabble with other instruments too, mainly strings.

As well as solo, I play with the dark ambient band Helicopter Quartet, synth duo CSMA and the Harrogate Philharmonic orchestra. I toured Europe with Crippled Black Phoenix in Spring 2011 and appear on the album Relic by guitarist Matt Stevens. I have recorded sessions for several bands including Crippled Black Phoenix, Se Delan, Duncan Parsons, and others.

When playing electric violin I use a fairly extensive pedalboard and often loopers to create a variety of sounds. On acoustic violins I am fluent in many extended techniques on both 4 and 5 string violins..
